1. Single motor lifting table

As the name suggests, a single motor is a motor drive, which is driven by a transmission rod to two lifting columns, thereby driving the table to achieve the lifting function.

There is definitely no problem with a single motor as an entry-level electric lifting table, but at the same time, the single motor lifting table has the following advantages and disadvantages that companies must know when purchasing.

On the surface, the single motor lifting table is one motor less than the dual motor, but the single motor lifting table on the market is actually simplified in many aspects of electric control and control configuration, thereby achieving a large cost difference.

Advantages: The price is relatively cheaper than the dual-motor style

Disadvantages:

1: The noise is relatively loud, because the single motor is not fully covered in the legs like the dual motor, and the transmission rod is basically exposed, so the noise is about 5-10 decibels louder than the dual motor. Of course, this is not absolute, and some manufacturers have slightly better noise control.

2: The service life of the single motor is shorter, because it is driven by the transmission rod, and the transmission rod is generally fixed and tightened by a rubber sleeve or a metal sleeve. Wear and tear during use is inevitable. When the wear or transmission rod is loose, there is a high probability that abnormal noise will occur or it will be unusable, so the use of a single motor driven by a transmission rod is unavoidable in this regard. (But this is also related to the frequency of use. The lifting durability of a single-motor lifting table is generally around 10,000 times, and some manufacturers with good workmanship and stacking materials are 20,000 times)

3: The load-bearing capacity of a single motor is poor, and the general operating load-bearing capacity is 50-70KG, because the motor torque is generally within a fixed range of values. When the dual motors are driven at the same time, it is 1+1=2 or greater than 2, and the single motor provides power to both column legs at the same time. In addition, there will be some loss when the transmission rod is transmitted, so the single motor will be more laborious.

4: The lifting range is small, because single motors are generally entry-level models, and each manufacturer basically saves money on costs. The outer tube of the lifting column generally has only two sections, and the lifting stroke is about 71-117. However, compared with the three-section outer tube of the dual motor, the lifting stroke of the single motor is much less, and it is impossible to truly meet the standing height requirements of more people. (Dual motors also have two outer tubes)

5: More shaky, because the single motor is the entry-level model launched by each manufacturer, so basically the materials are relatively lighter and thinner than other models, and wherever possible, materials are saved. In this way, the whole set of table frames will be lighter, but the price of lightness is more shaky. (Generally, it will not shake at the lowest position, but it will shake more when it is raised to the highest position)

 

2. Dual-motor lift table

1. Unlike a single motor, a dual-motor lift table has lift motors on both legs. It is superior to single-motor products in terms of stability and noise during the lifting process, but the corresponding price will be more expensive.

2. The dual-motor lift table has an industry-leading load-bearing capacity of about 250 pounds, a smoother lifting process, and a wider range of desktop sizes, generally suitable for 1200mm-1800mm.

3. The lifting range of the dual-motor lift table is also larger than that of a single motor. Dual-motor products in the industry are usually between 65cm-125cm, which can meet the usage scenarios of most height users and are more suitable for everyone's most comfortable standing office height.

In general, from ancient times to the present, you get what you pay for. No matter how beautiful the words are, they can't make up for the defects in quality. You can never buy Audi's quality with the money you spend on Alto. This is an eternal law!
